Well, my birthday on Wed. went off without a hitch. I turned 22, had some delicious cake and enjoyed the company of family and friends at my party. I scored some Twinkies as a gift, as seen in the photo. Can't go wrong there. This year, limmericks were on the order of service for party activities. Here are a few written by some partygoers:
She sits aloft a lofty tree,
Filling us with Christmas glee,
But the tail does wag,
Down came the angel, what a drag,
Now only ankle high she be.
By Joe Skinner and David Karner
December is a great time of cheer,
When we can all drink lots of beer,
We found a big tree,
And decided to pee,
But the carolers stopped to leer.

Tim received invitation from John,
To show up with his worst sweater on,
At seven he arrived,
And quickly realized,
That the contest, he had definitely won.
By Tim Annesley
John Stuart plays trombone,
And his skills he did hone,
Though he blows much hot air,
I’m sure he’s first chair,
For slacking he does not condone.
By Annie Petzinger
A miracle it was that day,
That made these two parents say,
“A beautiful boy,”
“A jumble of joy,”
The best of four we pray.
By John Stuart
